Blender is a free programme that does not require any fees, subscriptions or licences. The installation itself is extremely simple and intuitive, and any user can legally download the programme from the official producer’s website. This is undoubtedly a huge advantage, which makes it attractive to a large number of people interested in learning about computer graphics, especially novices who do not want to incur any costs at the very beginning of their adventure with 3D animation. In the case of 3ds Max, on the other hand, we can only use the 30-day trial version for free and when it expires we must purchase the time-limited licence we are interested in, either as a student or independent version for 1 year or for 3 years.
